The Remote Access website (http://remote.temple.edu) provides access to Temple's TUapps and VPN resources, including the ability to remotely access your office computer.

This software is a secure and scalable Terminal Server for macOS. NuoRDS Terminal Server for Mac is a software solution to enable simplified, secure access to Mac environment from virtually any computer, tablet, or smartphone.Licenses for this product are upgradable and customizable, for users 1 to 100 and beyond. The MacRDS Lab runs on NuoRDS Terminal Server Service. This allows multiple concurrent users to connect to one of several macOS computers and run many different Appstate licensed software already installed on the MacRDS Lab. Simply login to the MacRDS Lab with your Appstate username and password to access a full featured macOS environment. NuoRDS Proxy is a protocol agnostic reverse proxy and IP-based load balancer. Originally designed for NuoRDS Terminal Server, the proxy can be used with other connection based protocols, such as VNC, ARD, etc. However, keep in mind that usage of this proxy with request/response protocols, such as HTTP, may not be effective.

TUapps are a group of programs residing on a central server that are available to selected individuals within Temple University. You do not need to have these applications installed on your computer to use them. The TUapps also enable faculty and staff to remotely access their Windows office computers and shared drives. - Access VPN
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection establishes a 'secure tunnel' to Temple's network from external locations. Authorized Temple University employees and vendors can establish a VPN connection to Temple's network. If you are not authorized to use this resource, you will not see the VPN option.
